I consider beauty to be defined by character not by what society considers beautiful. I have never been interested in changing myself too look like the rest. I was always that girl with the ripped grass stained jeans and a t-shirt. People would always say that I needed to dress like a girl. That never sat well with me. As I grew up most girls started wearing revealing clothes and makeup. I always thought it was odd. Why cover yourself with a mask? in high school I was just myself, I didn't feel the need to draw attention to myself. I couldn't care less about what people thought. Personally it's liberating breaking free of social norms. I like to focus more on the character and personality behind the face. plus beauty will only last a while, character, will stay as long as you do.
